Status of Samba 4 and Samba 3.6 "Franky" support?

Independent of Franky or the current integration work between Samba 3 
and 4, you should be able to have two ip addresses assigned to a single 
NIC, and to run Samba 3 and Samba 4 each on their own IP, basically 
operating as if they are each separate machines.
