Thank you for your response i've installed Samba version
3.3.8-0.52.el5_5.2 from Scientific Linux repository and now sortdir works.
But i've a message like this:
[2011/01/18 16:04:04, 0] lib/util_sock.c:matchname(1749)
matchname: host name/address mismatch: ::ffff:192.168.168.202 !=
pc-ser-tun.eda
that fills log.smbd.
I've never used ipv6 and
ping pc-ser-tun.eda returns:
PING pc-ser-tun.eda (192.168.168.202) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from pc-ser-tun.eda (192.168.168.202): icmp_seq=1 ttl=128
time=0.092 ms
and in smb.conf i've this entry:
hosts allow = 127. 192.168.1. 192.168.168.
can you help me to remove this mismatch from log.smbd ?
Thanks in advance.
