Jeremy,

When you cherry-pick, if you don't cherry-pick from the git.samba.org
master branch, the hash values don't have any meaning.  

The issue is that the autobuild.py will rebase (and so may change the
hash) and change the commit message for the autobuild tag, which will
change the hash. 

This all may not matter very much, but I just wanted to let you know
that there isn't the tracking between branches that you may have thought
was there.
