I deleted the installation directoy under /usr/local/samba, however now even
after reinstalling it, the permissions do not seem to be correct, as Samba
cannot write a a log file and the DNS updates are not able to access the
sam.ldb file. Is there any way to have samba automatically reset the
permissions of it's installation directory?

Thanks much.
