Very interesting.  I forgot about nmbd doing a lot of broadcasts!

I'll bump this up to 32 if everyone is OK with that. 

The planned allocation of socket wrapper interfaces is:
Samba3:  1-10
Client:  11-16
Samba4:  21-32
