Is there something missing in the setup on the Windows 7/2008 machines
I have. No such problems with a Windows 2003 server.
LmCompatibility level is 3.
# cat /usr/local/samba/lib/smb.conf | egrep "ntlmv2|spnego"
client use spnego = no
client ntlmv2 auth = yes
# /usr/local/samba/bin/smbclient -V
Version 3.6.0-GIT-UNKNOWN-devel
cifstest4:~ # /usr/local/samba/bin/smbclient //9.3.123.456/winshare1
/mnt/smb_c -U Administrator%passwd -s /usr/local/samba/lib/smb.conf
session setup failed: NT_STATUS_INVALID_PARAMETER
The same smbclient works fine with
client use spnego = yes.
against Windows 7/2008 shares.
How can we tell what invalid parameter? Could this be due to
missing/incorrect client time in
ntlmv2 response?
