sam.ldb error

  following is the error when trying to create a new user

#net newuser "username"
New Password:
ERROR: Failed to create user "username" : 
../lib/ldb/ldb_tdb/ldb_index.c:1183: Failed to re-index objectSid in 
CN=username,CN=Users,DC=XXX,DC=com - 
../lib/ldb/ldb_tdb/ldb_index.c:1115: unique index violation on objectSid 
in CN=username,CN=Users,DC=XXX,DC=com

I choose to do ldbedit -H /usr/local/samba/private/sam.ldb find the user 
administrator and then change the value of useraccountcontrol to the 
suggested 512
