problem accessing symbolic link from samba share

I could not follow a symbolic link from a samba share with Ubuntu 10.04, however 
adding the following:


follow symlinks = yes
wide symlinks = yes
unix extensions = no
solved the problem.  Thanks.

I only had the problem when the symbolic link was defined between logical 
volumes.  When the symbolic link was defined within the same logical volume it 
worked just fine.
