libsmbclient size too big for embedded

Hi Richard,

I tried strip. And the max I could get out of that was an additional
500K.
So, I'm now down to 3.5MB.  Thanks!

Have you tried strip?

If that doesn't help much, the next step would be to split
libsmbclient into separate libraries with base functionality in one
and so forth.
