Samba 3.5.2: configure unter Irix

Dear Samba developers,

I am currently trying to compile Samba 3.5.2 under Irix 6.5.28 with gcc 
3.4.6 .

When running configure...

  % ./configure --disable-cups --prefix=/usr/local/Samba
--localstatedir=/var/adm/SAMBA --with-privatedir=/var/adm/SAMBA/private
--with-libiconv=/usr/local/Samba

...I notice the following warning:
