Oliver,

Perhaps you can explain what it is that you find so hard about it?

What are we missing in:
http://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Contribute
http://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Using_Git_for_Samba_Development

I would understand if this was your first patch, or perhaps your second,
but you are a long-standing developer. As such, I'm going to have to
just say NO, and ask that you make the effort to learn git. I can't
keep on trying to munge your mails into commit messages.

Learning this essential tool will make you more productive, and make it
easier to me to work with and integrate your changes.

Please return the patches in 'git format-patch' format, and then I'll
apply them.

Thank you,

Andrew Bartlett
