Hi Rusty,
I noticed this branch:
http://gitweb.samba.org/?p=rusty/ctdb.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/init-speedup
I think most of the changes are ok.
Is the --sloppy-start option only designed for testing?
Maybe it's a good idea to add some checks, which prevent
ctdbd from starting if --max-persistent-check-errors (with a value > 0)
and --sloopy-start are both given on the command line.
