Segfault while vampiring 4.0.0alpha12-GIT-1e897f6

I got this segfault after pulling the latest master.  I did a make clean all
prior to doing this vampire.  I have a snapshot of this vm just prior to the
segfault - so if you need more information, just ask because I can reproduce
this easily.  Looks like an array index is out of bounds - but I'll leave
that to you pros to decide :)
