Conflicting FDS instance name

Hi Andrew,
Attached are some new patches:
1. The first one takes netbios name, convert it into lower case,
and then use it for the instance name. This patch doesn't
include the --ldap-instance parameter. If you think it's
important just let me know, I'll send another patch.
2. The second one moves some OpenLDAP specific variables into
the OpenLDAPBackend class.
