Python version for samba-4.0.0alpha11

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to install samba-4.0.0alpha11 on centos 5.4 with python 2.4.

I am getting some error while compiling the source, Which i think is related
to python.

Should i use updated version of python ?
is there any doc to follow ?

because if i am using a complied python2.6 with python2.4. It didn't work.
