Hi folks,
after keeping tridge awake a bit longer than I should have, we finally managed
to get Samba3 smbd to compile, link and run using waf. I have pushed the
patches to my wip repository, but they're still full of hacks and nasty
shortcuts.
I'll be working on cleaning up the mess the initial build left us with in the
following days, and will look into building the rest of the s3 binaries after
that. Once the rest of S3 builds using waf, I'd like to add the s3 waf branch
to the build farm so we can test it on more than just Ubuntu.
I'll let you know when I really get the complete build done, just a little
heads up about the current status.
Cheers,
Kai
