First of all, thanks for writing the script!
As far as licensing goes, here's how ms_schema.py evolved
(http://lists.samba.org/archive/samba-technical/2008-December/062505.html):
Was originally minschema_wspp,
Which in turn was derived from Samba 4's minschema.js and minschema.py
(there's a mail that notes this, but I can't seem to find it)
So the same license (GPL3+, I guess) applies to ms_schema.py as
originally applied to those files.
So yes, a GPL3+ disclaimer is okay with me on your script. But please
do check with the Samba Team too.
