A proposal for an MIT KDC for Samba4

In addition to Simo's comment I wanted to say that the idea is to use
Samba 4 as a facade for IPA in the Windows world making IPA domain look
to other part of the Windows world as a separate forest. Supporting
Windows clients as members of IPA domain is a goal but a lower priority
one at the moment.
