One small minor suggestion: could you menbtion, in Bugzilla, in what
version the bug is planned to be fixed?

For instance, something like "Pushed to 3.2 and 3.3 branches. Will be
in 3.2.12 and 3.3.5" would be perfect.

As #6301 is linked to one of "our" (Debian) bugs, that would help even
more tracking down issues and also closing "our" bugs at the right
moment with the right version tracking.
