messages.tdb growing to 4GB (4294971392 bytes)

I've spent some time to make tdb 64-bit capable. First tests look
quite promising - but only on x86_64.

On i386 machines tdb still fails on files > 4GB.

I guess I'm missing some 32-bit / 64-bit conversion magic
at some point.

Maybe someone with more knowledge about tdb can have a look
at the patch and use it to get a clean 64-bit capable tdb.
In the meantime I'll keep trying :-)
