Parameter for logical hostname

I run Samba 3.0.x version on RHEL 4 and 5
All my users are Active Directory users
With the following configuration in
[global]
 WORKGROUP = AMERICAS
 server = ads

I do have a logical hostname for my physical server
Is there a parameter to configure where I would be able to use my logical hostname to map my Samba shares

The following does not work
On my desktop Start->Run In the run window I enter \\logical-hostname.domainname

This works \\physical-hostname.domainname and shows all the shares.

Any help is appreciated.
