Yes, I'm planning on doing so. I've asked Andreas to do a bit of testing of
these features, and intend to add these changes to master after a bit of
confirmation that it's doing what it's supposed to (so I don't need to do
fixes in multiple places before it's ready for prime time).

I've got it as one of only three items in my email todo list, so it's
unlikely to be forgotten.
