Heh.. I remember this Solaris group limitation from my old Sun admin
days in the last century.. A quick google:

which has been around for ages (1997).

The workaround mentioned sounds interesting, but I am not sure how it
would work, even doubt it would work in the larger scale or comples ACLs
like used by ZFS.
