Samba permissions and subgroups

Problem Description:  samba & sgi_samba are loaded and smd running and
operational so users can login, copy files both direction. 

However Sony has an issue with subgroups and that information does not
look to be forwarded to Windows Samba Clients. Basically their
DVD-cutting application runs with some higher privilege level of
permission above the normal user rights. They can't get the permission
through the subgroups thus the application breaks.

This is installed on a SGI XE system running SLES 10 SP2 SGI's ProPack 6SP3 and SGI's version of Samba
