Group permission issues

The problem is a compatibility issue between the old SAMBA where the
primary and sub group permission's flowed down.  On the new system only the
primary groups are flowing down.  We are extremely weak with the SAMBA
product.


Moved from an SGI version of Samba running on the IRIX environment to a 
SGI Altix system with a newer version of Samba.  Are there smb.conf 
parameters which might affect this?
