Using CTDB in new code

Hi,

I'm trying to convince some people that using CTDB in a new project is a
worthy thing to do ... however, there seems to be a lack of "how to code with"
documentation.

Can someone point me at a "hello world" app that uses CTBD?

(The application I'm wrestiling with is hypergraphDB, a Java/C++ thingy
that uses BerkleyDB under the covers. Its part of a google summer-of-code
project, and the idea is to make it distributed.)
