Hi Michael,

normally you create a file /etc/ld.so.conf.d/ with the additional library 
paths. One line for each path.

For examlple:

/etc/ld.so.conf.d/samba.conf:

/usr/lib64/samba

Setting rpath is not allowed if you create packages the major distributions.
