samba4 packages in Debian experimental

Thanks to the great work of Jelmer Vernooij, we now have samba4
packages in Debian. They survived the traditional nitpicking by our
(Debian) FTP team when new packages are uploaded.

These packages are named "samba4" as, very obviously, we still need to
keep Samba 3 packages around..:-)

They are currently in Debian "experimental". It means you need to
add such a line such as the following in /etc/apt/sources.list:

deb http://ftp.fr.debian.org/debian experimental main

(no, you don't *have* to use the French mirror...:-))

Do this only if you are running Debian unstable or testing, *not* Etch
(and not on production servers, obviously).

These packages could very well work on Ubuntu Hardy machines...or not..:-)

If you add this line to sources.list, it is recommended to add this to
/etc/apt/preferences:

APT::Default-Release "unstable";

Then, just do "aptitude install samba4" and enjoy (or not...).

For any other questions about the details of the packages, please ask
Jelmer...

I leave up to Jelmer or Andrew Bartlett to decide whether it's
appropriate to send an 'announcement' to samba at l.s.o and word it
appropriately.
