Can you try on the current tree, and perhaps an older snapshot (we made
some changes for Vista, which might somehow also play here)?  The commit
to try before and after is af629a3738298d27eb2dbecf466ceb503cec9638

Can you get a network trace (warning, it will include the domain details
you are clearly trying to keep private).

In particular, I'm trying to see if kerberos or NTLMSSP is used in the
session setup that proceeds the failing SetUserInfo SAMR call (presuming
that is where the failure is).
