The struct registry_key previously had a field named "path" in Samba 4.0.0 TP4: (31 January 2007). Perhaps, given a key, it was used to provide a path such as HKEY_LOCAL\MACHINE\SOFTWARE\3com; anyhow, it is no longer present in version Samba 4.0.0 alpha1: (4 September 2007).
