It's a pity it is so scattered. For my part, I would really like to
have a combined development tree that I can work on - building Samba3
and Samba4 as I understand Jelmer has working, and then testing them in
integration - ie, with a single make test having Samba3 join Samba4,
etc.
It would also make it easier to do work in both branches - I see only
pain in continuing to duplicate the 'net' tool for example.
I disagree about the actual 'Franky' smbd construction, but much of the
rest of this has positive uses, and I wish was happening more in the
open.
