Dear all,

I just cloned a fairly good work server into a test server, get the
latest samba (it seems because sometimes I have still problems with git
...), compile all, remove old installation (but saved appart var and
private dir), make install and reinstalled var and private

smbclient -U mat \\\\192.168.1.2\\common
Password:
Domain=[ECV] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 4.0.0alpha6-GIT-8e201ec]
tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_INTERNAL_ERROR

[Wed Aug  6 20:53:32 2008 MSD, 0
libcli/wbclient/wbclient.c:38:get_server_id()]
Geting the winbind server ID failed.
[Wed Aug  6 20:53:32 2008 MSD, 0
smb_server/smb/service.c:104:make_connection_scfg()]
make_connection: NTVFS make connection failed!

On the real server this command works, if I restore the old version.

At first I thought that it was just due to the fact that libwinbind is
not really installed by make installlib (ie: ls -rtl libnss_winbind.so*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root staff 17 2008-08-06 21:11 libnss_winbind.so ->
libnss_winbind.so
) but even after removing the broken link and copying the librairy by
hand I still have the error message.

Can someone help me ?

Regards.

Matthieu.
