yeah.  And things like "path = /foo/%U" need to be consistent.
I think we have the correct behavior.  If you change this behavior,
you will break a large number of installations.

If I recall correctly, the posting was about the "printer
username" that Karolin added and mixed case names in
/etc/passwd.

If I'm wrong, please correct me.
