Samba and the dns domain name

Hello,

when you search for published printers in ADS you'll always find the 
short server name in the column "servername" for samba printers.
Printers that have been published by Windows show the fqdn.

One reason (besides the confusing way how linux handles domain names) is 
that get_mydnsdomname in util.c always returns False.
Is this intended or a bug?
