Yes, I assume that would be very usefull.

As I assume this will be a larger project it might be usefull
if you create a git branch for this feature.

As Samba4 is still only a git-svn mirror you should use git rebase,
that will make sure your patches always apply cleanly on top of the
latest svn revision which make it easier to apply on top of a git tree
once samba4's master repository is also git (as it already is for samba3).
