buffer overrun warning in smbtree ?

Hello,

today I run smbtree Version 3.0.26a and I got this warning

prs_mem_get: reading data of size 1 would overrun buffer by 1 bytes.
rpc_pipe_bind: failed to unmarshall RPC_HDR.
cli_rpc_pipe_open_noauth: rpc_pipe_bind for pipe \srvsvc failed with 
error NT_STATUS_BUFFER_TOO_SMALL

Is this a buffer overrun catched by the checks in the code?
