Agreed - assuming you mean (1) and (2) are done in a different branch,
rather than in trunk (and would disrupt normal work on the docs).

I've already done (1) in a private bzr branch that I'll push into svn
later this week.

Is there some good way to convert from svg into a format latex understands? I
