Disabling HTTP access to git repos

Folks,

I've asked Deryck to disable the access to URLS at
http://people.samba.org/git/.  This is due to HTTP's
inefficient transport of git repositories.

I'd like to ensure that all access is done either via
git:// or ssh:// protocols.  Does anyone see a really big
problem with this?
