Folks,

Just an update on what's going on. So far, we are still planning
to make 3.0.25pre2 available for testing tomorrow. We'll have
a few more bugzilla days between now and the final 3.0.25 tarball,
but not this week (unless someone else wants to drive it).

I'm going to ask that all checkins for the release be done in the
next 12 hours. This will bring us to a code complete stage. If
in doubt, be conservative and save the new code for 3.0.26. I am
making a personal commitment to shorten the release schedule the
next time around.

Once 3.0.25pre2 is out, the SAMBA_3_0_25 should only be seeing
bug fix. And not the kind of checkins that rewrite large portions
of code to fix a design deficiency :-) Real bug fixes.

I expect the release to take all day tomorrow so it make be late
Tuesday night (GMT-6) or even early Wednesday morning before the
tarball is available.

cheers, jerry
