Jeremy,  What I'm confused about is whether or not you are
volunteering to maintain the samba-vscan code. If you are, then
I'm ok with it.  I'll create samba-vscan component in bugzilla
and make you the default owner.  Otherwise, I agree with Jelmer
and think it is better left to someone who is interested in
actively maintaining it.
