Help: how to restrict /var/lib/samba/connections.tdb size ?

Hi, all:
  I download a samba-3.0.25 ,  then I build and install the samba on a 
cross-build enviroment,
but when run samba , the /var/lib/samba/connections.tdb file exceed the 
memory available soon ,
any one know how to reslove the problem?
