What opinion if let samba manage entire Linux OS

Hi all Linux+Windows Expert:

Since Linux able to join/login active directory, putting more effort
probably we can allow Samba Server manage entire enterprise network
easily and more efficient. From file sharing(for me cifs is better than
nfs), printer sharing, kerberos authentication, ipsec implementaion,
roaming profile, desktop setting and etc.

It just like Windows+Linux Active Directory, and it greatly reduce
administration effort for hybrid network.

What opinion?
