I would say later, when I'm finished with my work.

for originating changes I would like to have the first module lookup
the old record with all attributes, and then this should be attached as
control to the request, so that not every module needs to look it up
again when it wants to merge the new values with old values...

also I plan that the pdc_fsmo module caches the password policies
so that the password hash just need an ldb_get_opqaue("dsdb_pdc_fsmo")
to get do it.
