modularization of cups and ldap code

Hi

I am just preparing an update of Samba for OpenBSD and I stumbled over
something:

As it looks, cups and ldap support can be enabled only at compile time,
not at run time.

To me it would desirable to to be able to install something like
libsambacups.so or libsambaldap.so which, when present, will dynamically
enable cups or ldap support.

Did I miss something and this is already possible or, if not, are there
plans to do this?
