Well sorry for stating the obvious...  I didn't look into each
of the commit messages before...  :-}

It's difficult to track down, since most of those commits
don't even build.

Ok. You know that code better. :-) I also suspected
the preceeding 83d274b46078a9ace77edb822a0e336c79dcf40e.
