Auto-lookup timeout value for AD controllers specified in smb.conf (password server = )

Is there an auto-lookup parameter that can be adjusted/tweaked for the 
following entry in the smb.conf?

password server = x.x.x.x y.y.y.y z.z.z.z

The reason I ask is that, in the event that AD controller x.x.x.x is 
unavailable, I would like auto-lookup to move on 'sooner' to the next 
specified AD controller y.y.y.y and so on...
