Next question: What about a fully async API? There might be
interested projects around that could make good use of a
working winbind (Kai: hint, hint :-)
I could imagine that we might design an API that does not
depend on the full lib/events code, but that can be plugged
into it.
An API that gives callbacks to register sockets with a
main-program controlled event loop and marks them "I want to
read/write, please tell me when I can".
Would it be worth if I spent a bit on design, or is this a
no-go from the start?
