File Access problem

Hi there,

I'm having a problem with file access in my linux box. When I open a 
file located in a Windows 2000 machine in my computer it opens ok, but 
if my friend open the same file in your linux box, the file don't appear

to be read-only, was expected, but if I open that in the Windows 
machine, it's read-only. I'm trying to share a Openoffice.org 2 
document. Can you help me ???
