samba config registry rpc - proposal

Why not just use the standard RPCs and the Computer Management MMC
snapin to manage shares? WScript can easily be used to manage shares as
well. Granted I'm not an admin so maybe I'm not the best person to ask
but I don't see major advantages to doing this.
