nt_status_no_logon_server

Hi,
Installing samba 3 on a new member box and trying to use it from either 
other samba server or windows members does not allow anything to be 
seen. The message using smbclient //server/share yields back 
NT_STATUS_NO_LOGON_SERVER.

I had no problem with: net rpc join -S SAMBAPC which only came back with 
successfully joined domainname.

 From the new samba member server, running smbclient -L thisbox -N shows 
the right information such as domain, and pdc.

Any ideas what is going on?
